Samsung Galaxy S10 users in the US might be feeling happy, ecstatic even, when they found out earlier today the Android 10 update is coming soon to some of them (luck permitting!) under the One UI 2 beta program.
But they shouldn’t be anywhere nearby the Nokia 8.1 users who are right now receiving the Android 10 update as we speak. Nokia took to Twitter to announce the rollout, and it’s the stable version, no less!

If you have been keeping tabs, you would know that as of now, only the Google Pixels, Essential Phone, Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, are the few devices that got the Android 10 OS via an update. Now, we can add Nokia 8.1 to that list.

We expect the Android 10 update to become available for the handful of other devices soon, including the Galaxy Note 10 series and Galaxy S10 series, LG G8 and LG V50, Motorola Z3, and more but right now, only Samsung has announced the beta program.
With Android 10 on your Nokia 8.1, you will get new features like Dark Theme (it’s dope!), better Gesture navigation, faster Share menu, Bubbles, Live Caption, a bit of theming in the system app itself, deep permission management, and much more.
