Huawei unveiled a new Watch GT smartwatch alongside the flagship Mate 20 series towards the end of last year, but it’s only now that the former is finding its way into the U.S.

Unlike what we’ve gotten used to, the Huawei Watch GT doesn’t come with Google’s Wear OS, but it has a custom LiteOS running the show. The best part of the watch, though, is the strong battery endurance that the company puts at 14 days with typical use. Of course, typical use here is relative.

The Huawei Watch GT is available in the U.S. starting this week through Amazon and Newegg. Both retailers have opened pre-orders beginning at $200 for the base model that includes a silicon Graphite Black strap whereas the Classic Saddle Brown leather/silicon strap version will set you back $230. Availability begins next Tuesday.

In terms of specs, the Watch GT has a 1.39-inch AMOLED circular touchscreen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels, a dual chipset architecture with AI that switches between the two cores automatically, 16MB RAM, 128MB storage, a 420mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.2, 5 ATM water-resistant, GPS, magnetic charging thimble, and sensors that include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Optical heart rate, Ambient light, and Barometer sensor.

Despite having a significant battery capacity, Huawei says the Watch GT can fully charge in under 2 hours, which is great. As for the build, the GT is made from a combination of metal, plastic, and ceramic.

As mentioned, you can pre-order the Huawei Watch GT on Amazon or Newegg right away, but you won’t be able to get your hands on one until next week on February 19.
