The sequel to the Google Play “Standout Indie” award-winning game, Alphabear, is now available for pre-registration in the Google Play Store. The game is developed by Spry Fox, the same developer behind another award-winning title, Triple Town, and is all about word puzzles.
As you’d expect, the latest Alphabear 2 builds upon the success of the previous version by allowing players to spell words by selecting letters on a puzzle grid and in the process reveal bears, but only if adjacent letters are used in constructing the words. With more letters in a word, the bigger the bear gets, which also translates to more points.

Players of Alphabear 2 will be able to enjoy features like collecting bears, bear humor, a built-in dictionary as well as a localized UI for French, Spanish, German and Russian speaking players. The developer also notes that players will be able to see the score target in most campaign maps, skip past any part of the end-game sequence by tapping a “forward” button, and so on.
