ZTE ZMAX 2 bearing model number Z958 at AT&T is receiving the June security patch. The update, which comes as an OTA update has Build number Z958V1.0.0B26.
The update is for Android  6.0.1 and weighs just 6MB. If you haven’t received the update, you will soon get it as OTA update.
As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.

It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent while installing the update.
And, if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
