ZTE’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Nubia Z17, is just over a week away from official release. But a recent leak has given us a peek into how the the real ZTE Nubia Z17 looks like.

A Weibo user has uploaded an image of a smartphone citing it to be the new ZTE Nubia Z17. In the image, the phone sports edge to edge bezel-less look with more pronounced bezels at the top and bottom end. The signature red circular Nubia home button at the bottom bezel is unmistakable.

Successor to ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini, this new device is rumored to feature AI assistant, water proofing and fingerprint scanner. Underneath it will carry Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage.

The ZTE Z17 is believed to sport dual rear cameras of 23MP+12MP resolution and a 16MP selfie snapper. A 5.5 inch FHD display of the phone will be kept on by a 3100mAH battery. The phone will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

ZTE released a teaser signalling a June 1 launch of the Nubia Z17 phone which will come in Silver and Gold colors.
