The Chinese smartphone vendor ZTE has announced the launch of the cheapest 4G smartphone called ZTE Blade Qlux 4G in India for a price tag of Rs 4,999. The device will be exclusively available for sale via the online retailer giant Amazon India from June 16. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G will be bundled with a 4G data offer from the leading telecom service provider Airtel.
The ZTE smartphone boasts of a 4.5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MTK6732M chipset that is backed by a moderate 1 GB of RAM.
The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G supports 4G bands of 1800 MHz Band Class 3 and 2300 MHz Band Class 40. This connectivity aspect will provide a great compatibility with the current and future 4G networks that will emerge in a few months. Furthermore, the smartphone can support data speed of up to 150 Mbps on LTE Cat.4 networks.
In terms of imaging, the ZTE smartphone flaunts an 8 MP main snapper paired with LED flash, autofocus, face detection, HDR and continuous shots. There is a front facing 5 MP selfie snapper onboard the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G.
The device bundles 8 GB of native storage space that can further expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card slot. A 2,200 mAh battery powers the smartphone delivering up to 12 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.
