ZTE Axon 7 update brings August security patch and a bunch of new features

ZTE is pushing a new software update to AXON 7 handsets. The update, which is currently rolling out arrives as version number ZTE_A2017UV1.1.0B25.

For those who are wondering, the update brings multi-user support to boot. Thanks to this feature, you can now create multiple users on your smartphone similar to the feature available in Windows. Also, with multi-user support, you can run two instances of the same app on your device.

The update also brings enhanced and improved support for Day Dream, which, for the unaware is Google’s mobile VR platform. Talking about improvements, the update improves battery performance as well.

Further, the update has added support for quick settings and an adjustable night mode. You can now modify call tones as the update enhances call tone support. In addition to that, the update brings bug fixes such as Hiya app can now be updated via Google Play Store and it also fixes Android Pay issue prevalent on the 6GB variant.

Last but not the least, the update brings August security patch to ZTE Axon 7. This security patch also adds an added layer of protection by safeguarding your ZTE from viruses and other threats. The update also includes various other under-the-hood performance improvements as well as other minor system enhancements too.

It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and since the update weighs around 793MB, make sure you have enough free storage. Further, keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.
