ZTE Axon 7 Mini Nougat preview program launched in US

ZTE has launched a new Nougat preview program in the US for users of the Axon 7 Mini. The preview will bring Android 7.1.1 Nougat to the smartphone, which is pretty awesome.

Therefore, if you are a Axon 7 mini user and want to try out Android 7.1.1, then you will need to be quick. The available slots are limited, and ZTE will contact you if you are selected. We have included the sign up form at the end of this article.

The Axon 7 recently received the Android 7.1.1 update in the US as well. ZTE has done what even big names like Samsung couldn’t. Not many OEMs have updated their devices to Nougat, that to Android 7.1.1.

We have no idea when the preview would start, but once the users are selected, they should soon start receiving the firmware. So sign up before all the slots are filled!

  1. Google started the preview and soak test programs and now most manufacturers are following suit. Accomplishes two things in one arrow: 1. allowing tech enthusiasts to get a taste of new SW early. 2. beta testing the SW
