Yu Yureka Marshmallow Update (Cyanogen OS 13) Release Date

Micromax Yu Yureka ships with Cyanogen OS, the OS that once shipped with the Flagship killer of 2014, OnePlus One.

Now, Cyanogen being the maintainer of CyanogenMod ROM (also the CM13 ROM), you’d expect it to release the Marshmallow update to Yureka pretty quick, maybe as quick as Nexus devices, but only you’d be so wrong about it.

Last year when Lollipop released, we expected the same for OnePlus One, but Cyanogen released the update well after 60 days of Google’s official release.

We fear the same would happen with Yu Yureka Marshmallow update. But there’s hope for a bit early release of the update since Lollipop was an update much bigger than Marshmallow. And it also revamped the whole Android UI to material design, which is why it took much time for Cyanogen to release the Lollipop update.

Anyway, we expect the Yu Yureka Android Marshmallow update to arrive within 30-60 days of official release by Google.

Expected release: November – December 2015

Hi I had already installed custom ROM of Android 6.0.1 marshmallow it’s pretty good working the best thing is that battery saving is good and pretty fast and most important thing is that root in cm13 is excellent working hey guys I want you say you that even you also install custom ROM and enjoy till official rom arrive if official rom arrive than download the offical ROM and install in recovery mode but on your own risk

  29. Hi,i want to yu yureka update cm 12.1 and Android 5.1.1 version,
    my phone is currently working cm 12.0 & Android 5.0.0 lolipop.

  110. I was trying to install resurrection remix on yureka . I have installed CWM recovery on yureka . I was formatting system but pulled out battery in the middle of it . Now , when I am trying to install any custom ROM , the ROM and GApps install fine but after rebooting system the OS doesn’t load . It just sticks to the resurrection remix boot animation . Phone works fine when I flash stock ROM .Please help brothers .
