A few weeks ago, Xiaomi revealed that some of the major camera highlights of the flagship Mi MIX 3 will eventually find their way to Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S, among them the ability to record super slow motion videos at up to 960 frames per second as well as Night Scene, which is basically a version of Google’s Night Sight.
Although the latest MIUI 10 beta 8.11.15 doesn’t bring about all of these camera goodies from the Mi MIX 3, global users of both the Mi MIX 2S and Mi 8 can now take advantage of the former feature – super slow-motion video recording of up to 960fps. While the Night Scene feature has already featured in MIUI 10 beta 8.11.8, this was only spotted in China and so far, the changelog of the latest version doesn’t mention anything to do with this feature.
