Google amazed the crowd with the debut of Google Duplex last year in the Google I/O developers conference that ran into a lot of controversies. The tech giant also announced the rollout of Call Screen feature that would help users identify spam calls without answering them.

The feature is already available on Pixel devices and there are fairly less chances that the feature would not be available on any other Android smartphone. Although OEMs may try and create their own ‘Call Screen‘ feature if this takes off.

Nevertheless, Call Screen isn’t yet available across the globe and only supports the English language in the U.S currently. So let’s see in which regions is this cool feature available and what all devices are eligible for Call Screen.

Eligible Devices

Google’s Call Screen feature is only available of the following devices:

  • Google Pixel
  • Google Pixel XL
  • Google Pixel 2
  • Google Pixel 2 XL
  • Google Pixel 3
  • Google Pixel 3 XL
  • Motorola Moto G7
  • Motorola One

The feature is available on all Pixel devices including the OG Pixel and Pixel XL that got the Call Screen feature a tad later than the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Availability

Call Screen was primarily available in the U.S but later Google rolled out this feature for Pixel users in Canada as well. What’s worth noting is that the Call Screen feature is only available on the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL in Canada at present and we do expect to see the OG Pixel devices receive the feature soon.

Only English language users would be able to use Google’s Call Screen feature at this point. And there is no confirmation from Google about when we could expect Call Screen to be available in other languages.
