One generally expects that whenever a high-end smartphone or tablet gets released (Android powered of otherwise), the guys over at iFixit will tear it apart and then put it back together with a rating on how easy it is to fix or tear down. But in the case of the Xperia Tablet S recently announced by Sony, Sony has gone the extra mile and tore down the tablet themselves and released a video on it.
The video isn’t as detailed as an iFixit tear down video would be as it fast forwards through the procedure, but it’s still a good look at what internals the Xperia Tablet S carries, which include a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1280×800 IPS display and a 6000 mAh battery.
