Verizon is currently rolling out the latest security patch for two of its Motorola devices – Moto Z-Droid and Z Force Droid. Arriving as an OTA update, the update installs the June security patch on both the devices.
The update, which comes as version number NCL25.86-11.5 is an update over NCL25.86-11.4 update received last month.
Both the phones run on Android Nougat, which arrived on the Android Marshmallow based Moto Z-Droid and Z Force Droid in November last year.

As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.
It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update. Further, keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.
And, if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
