A small update, which was supposed to be fixing the Stagefright bug is rolling out for Verizon Moto X 2013 users. The update’s size is around 9 MB. But the only problem is that it isn’t fixing Stagefright, as seen in the screenshots above.
If we’re to guess, maybe this is an update to make device ready for a big update, which could be Android 5.1.1.
But who knows, if you own a Verizon Moto X 1st Gen, then be sure to check for an update under Settings > About phone.
The build no. of the update is LPA23.12-15.5, and software version is 222.27.5.ghost_row.Retail.en.EU vzw.
