The last time we reported about the Galaxy Note 8 was nearly two weeks ago and at the time, the talk was all about AR Emoji, super slow-motion video recording, and September 2018 security patch, however, this was only true for the global variant of the phone.

Now, Verizon Wireless is rolling out a new update to the Note 8 that installs the latest security patch for the month of September 2018, but in the changelog, there’s no mention of the much-anticipated support for AR Emoji and super slow-motion video recording.

Of course, it’s likely that the features may still be part of the rolling out update, but we may have to rely on you to give let us know if this is indeed the case. As for the update itself, it comes as version N950USQS5CRI4 and is rolling out over the air, meaning it will take some time before all Note 8 units on Verizon get the OTA download notification.
