Verizon Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus Nougat update rolling out with build N920VVRU3CQB9 and G928VVRU3CQB9

The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus seem to be making their Nougat milestone together at the major US carriers. Only recently Sprint and AT&T rolled out the Nougat update together to these devices and now the Verizon variants of Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus are receiving the much awaited update.

Coming in as a OTA update, the Android 7.0 Nougat release comes with build N920VVRU3CQB9 for the Verizon Note 5 and build G928VVRU3CQB9 for the Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

The update brings along all goodies from Android 7.0 Nougat like improved split-screen, intelligent data saver option, direct reply from notification, new battery management options, improved camera app, and many more Nougat specific features. Be sure to check the source link below.

Since this is a staged rollout, you may have to wait until the update reaches your device. Or, you can always head over to device Settings » About phone and manually check for the update.

  1. I’m still on Lollipop, but I don’t mind it too much. Still, I woundn’t mind updating to a new phone in a couple of months.

    1. I like lollipop, I feel like the new updates are just improvements on it. Nothing like the jump from 4.4 to 5.0
