Throw Food For Animals New Regions: Animal Index, Food Shop, and How to Catch

The Throw Food For Animals update expands the regional animal collections and adds new foods to throw. The update adds 12 pets. This guide covers the new regions, food prices, and how to catch animals and manage them back at your plot.

How to browse new regions and catch animals in Throw Food For Animals

Browse the regional collections, visit Food Shop, then head to the throwing lane and manage your catch.

Part 1 – Inspect the new regions in Animal Index

Open Animal Index

Click the Index icon on the screen’s left edge to open Animal Index. The overall collection counter reads 70/164 unlocked.

Browse the new regions

Scroll downward through the Index to reach Cursed Carnival and Eclipse Kingdom and view their animal collections. Their collection counters read 2/12 and 0/12, respectively, while Phantom Harbor reads 5/8.

Close Animal Index

Press the red X in the window’s upper-right corner to dismiss Animal Index.

Part 2 – Browse the new foods in Food Shop

Enter Food Shop

Walk into the blue glowing circle in front of the stall with blue stripes to open Food Shop.

Browse the food list

Scroll through the shop’s list to view the new foods and their tier labels.

Close Food Shop

Click the red X in the menu’s upper-right corner when you’re finished browsing.

Part 3 – Throw food and manage your animals

Reach the throwing strip

Run to the checkered launch strip at the edge of your plot.

Throw your food

Use the TAP TO THROW! prompt to launch your food.

Wait for the catch

Let the food travel through the lane’s zones and land, where it can attract an animal. A completed catch places the animal in the pen at your base plot.

Manage your animals

Open Animals to reach My Animals, where you can equip your newly caught pet or sell an unwanted backpack pet with SELL. The menu also includes PICK UP and X controls. Selling a Reactor Golem yields $64Dd. My Animals displays a 20/20 counter. When you’re finished, close it with X and walk through the base plot toward the launch lane.
