While people may have their attention turned towards SwiftKey Flow, the swipe-enabled version of the popular third-party keyboard that is currently in beta, the developers haven’t forgotten about SwiftKey 3 and have given it a major update up to version 3.1.
Version 3.1 adds several new languages – Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Hindi, Irish, Macedonian, Spanish (Latin America) and Tagalog, even adding support for Hinglish, the English and Hindi hybrid that is extremely popular in India. The new languages are in beta, and the developers are hoping that users will be able to provide some feedback on prediction for these languages.
Another important change in the update is that now devices of all sizes, phone or tablet, can use SwiftKey in split mode when in landscape orientation. A new theme named Berry has also been added, there are improvements in language pack downloads, key layouts on some keyboards, and some fixes for force close issues.
Both the free trial and paid versions of SwiftKey have been updated, and you can grab the new version from either the links below or through the Play Store app on your device.
