The Aurora is the wrecked starship that dominates the skyline near your life pod in Subnautica, and several of its rooms sit behind locked doors with numeric keypads. Cracking those keypads gets you into cabins, storage lockers, and restricted sections holding useful loot and story items.

Working Subnautica Aurora codes

These are the keypad combinations that currently unlock doors aboard the Aurora, along with what each one leads to.

1454 Opens the Cargo Bay
1869 Opens Cabin 1
2679 Opens the Captain’s Quarters
6483 Grants Lab Access
6666 Opens the Robotics Bay, an unused area

Note: the Aurora’s interior is unstable and partially flooded with fire hazards in some sections, so keep an eye on your oxygen and health while you’re punching in numbers.

How to redeem codes in Subnautica Aurora

You don’t type these into a menu. Each code corresponds to a physical keypad mounted next to a specific door inside the ship, so you need to be standing in front of the right door first.

Board the Aurora through one of the hull breaches and make your way to the door you want to open. The keypads are mounted on the wall beside each locked door.
Interact with the keypad to bring up the number entry screen, then click in the four digits for that door.
Confirm the entry. A correct code makes the panel light up green and the door slides open. An incorrect code rejects the entry so you can try again.

How to get more Subnautica Aurora codes

Aurora keypad codes are fixed to the game itself rather than tied to a rotating promo system, so you won’t find a live events feed or a redemption page handing out fresh ones. Each door’s combination stays the same across playthroughs on a given version of the game, and the numbers only change if a future update reworks the ship’s layout or its locked rooms.

If you’re exploring the Aurora and run into a keypad that isn’t listed above, check nearby terminals, data boxes, and PDA logs scattered through the ship. Several of the ship’s rooms hide their access codes in readable notes left behind by the crew, so searching a cabin thoroughly before moving on is worth the extra minute.

Why won’t my code work?

Double-check you’re at the correct door before entering a code, since each combination only opens one specific keypad. Mistyped digits are the most common reason a correct code gets rejected, so re-enter it slowly if the panel flashes red.

Once you’ve cleared out the rooms above, the rest of the Aurora is still worth a careful walk-through. Fires, radiation, and structural damage make it one of the more dangerous early spots in the game, so bring a radiation suit and a fire extinguisher before you go digging for anything the keypads didn’t already hand you.
