US telecom giant, Sprint, has started rolling out an update for the Galaxy S10 family and Galaxy A50. The OTA, which comes off as a regular security and maintenance update, brings the October 2019 security patch.
Sprint isn’t always the most reliable when it comes to software updates, but the company has done justice to the latest Galaxy smartphones, so far.
The OTA for the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e carry software version G973USQU2BSIO, G975USQU2BSIO, and G970USQU2BSIO, respectively. A50, on the other hand, gets the October security patch branded as A505USQU2ASI6.
Apart from timely security updates, Sprint has also done a great job bringing Android 10 to Galaxy S10 users. Days after announcing the beta program for Android 10-based One UI 2, Samsung has made the update available for Sprint/T-Mobile/unlocked S10 users in the United States.
To get the beta, simply head over to the Samsung Members app, check under Notices, and apply for the One UI beta.
