It seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2‘s thunder will be stolen a little by the LG Optimus G, which US carriers are gearing up to launch in November, the same month in which Samsung’s phablet will also be launched. After AT&T announced the Optimus G’s official release date, Sprint has done the same and said that they will be launching the Optimus G on November 11, with pre-orders to start from the first day of November.

Sprint will be getting the exclusive 13-megapixel camera variant of the Optimus G, which will cost $199.99 on a 2-year contract, same as the AT&T variant. The Sprint Optimus G however will only sport 32GB of non-expandable storage, while the battery will also remain non-removable.

The Optimus G for Sprint will feature the following specs:

  • 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 4.7 inches HD (1280 × 720) True HD IPS+ display
  • 13 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera
  • 32GB storage
  • Wi-Fi, HSPA 42mbps, LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0
  • 2100mAh battery
  • Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.1 coming soon
