Sprint Galaxy Note 5 has just received its fair share of love from the custom development community with the release of official TWRP recovery by TeamWin.
A custom recovery like TWRP allows you to install custom ROMs, MODs and take complete system backup of your device. But TWRP isn’t just limited to that, apart from basic custom recovery features, TWRP also has a file manager, MTP connectivity, themes (material designed), and many more little features that makes it the best custom recovery available for Android.
Sprint Note 5 TWRP is available as Odin flashable .tar file and if you’re rooted, an ADB flashable .img file is also available.
However, know that flashing TWRP recovery on your Sprint Note 5 will trip KNOX counter on the device and hence void its warranty. We know, most of you will be okay with that, but by tripping the KNOX you’ll also lose Samsung Pay feature forever on your Note 5. This may be a big deal for you, so be completely sure before you proceed with installing TWRP on your Note 5.
That said, having a custom recovery like TWRP has its own advantages, which at times can be more tempting than Samsung Pay for some users, take the Volume Boost MOD for example.
Grab the latest TWRP recovery from the download link below. If you’ve access to a PC, we’d recommend you to download the .tar file and install the recovery using Odin. It’s simple and doesn’t require you to be rooted.
