Are you a Spotify Premium customer? Do you have a significant other? Do you end up having to purchase the family plan in order to share your subscription with your partner?
If that is the case, then we have some great news for you. Spotify is launching another premium plan called Spotify Duo, tailored for two users, in 5 countries. These 5 countries are Chile, Columbia, Denmark, Ireland, and Poland.
When Spotify launched in India it introduced highly granular plans into its repertoire. These included daily, weekly and yearly plans to fit any user or family’s requirements.
Spotify seems to have carried over this granularity to the aforementioned countries as well. The Spotify Duo plan is priced in between the regular premium plan and the family plan. This means that couples can save money by purchasing one plan rather than two individual premium plans. It also means that if you have a family plan but only two people are using it, you will end up saving money.
Apart from all the Premium benefits, Duo subscribers will benefit from one extra feature: Duo Mix. Duo Mix is basically a playlist based on both the users’ listening habits blending their tastes together. A way to get closer to your significant other? Most certainly, in our opinion. Duo Mix offers standard, chill, and uptempo modes, so you and your significant other can set the music to your mood.
We hope the couples in these 5 countries find more value from their subscriptions now.
