A TENAA listing confirms a new Redmi Note — point to be NOTEd is this is not the recently launched 5.7″ Mi Note and Mi Note Pro — that will have lightest of additions to current Redmi Note.
Dual SIM (LTE capable), option between 1GB and 2GB variant, priced 799 yuan ($125) and 899/999 yuan ($140/160) respectively, MIUI 6 (no Lollipop, it’s Android 4.4 KitKat) and as many as eight colors available to choose from: black, red, purple, blue, white, orange, yellow and green.

You’ll have same 5.5″ HD display and Snapdragon 410 processor, with 8GB of internal storage. Here’s hoping that the 2GB RAM variant, priced a bit higher too, gets you at least 16GB of storage to this otherwise cool handset.
The device looks exactly the same as today’s Note 4G, which is fine, except for the shiny plastic back which we hope to be replaced with a ceramic one or matte finished one. But we know that won’t happen. After all, this is far from Redmi Note 2, it’s just a new Redmi Note.
