Sony Xperia Tablet S was marketed to be a water resistant tablet along with a slew of added features such as a universal IR remote, Guest mode, Small Apps and the Walkman/Album apps but this hype was quickly put to rest and sales was suspended when Sony confirmed that there is a gap between the display and the chassis which caused water to seep through.
Sony Japan has now however, confirmed that the 9.4 inch Tablet S will gradually resume sales starting mid of November.
For those of you who already own the Xperia Tablet S, Sony is now offering free inspection and repair services so don’t forget to visit your nearest Sony center to get the tablet checked and serviced.
