It’s been only a few months since Qualcomm announced its Snapdragon 660 chipset and we already have a few details surrounding its successor, the Snapdragon 670 SoC.
According to the latest leak, the chipset will apparently be unveiled sometime in Q1 of 2018. The Snapdragon 670 will reportedly be built on Samsung’s 10nm LPE process.
The chipset will feature Qualcomm Kryo CPU built on ARM DynamIQ technology. Two of the Kryo 360 cores will reportedly come with a high clock speed while the other six cores come with a relatively lower clock rate.
As far as GPU is concerned, you’ll see 25% improvement in performance when compared with the Adreno 512 GPU found on the Snapdragon 660 SoC.
Apart from these details, not much is available currently. More details should emerge soon in which case we will update you with the same. Until then, keep an eye on this space.
