Sharp FS8010 spotted on GeekBench with Snapdragon 630 processor

A new Sharp phone has appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench. Bearing model number Sharp FS8010, the phone could be one of the bezel-less devices which the Japanese electronics giant plans to launch in China this year.

According to the Geekbench listing, Sharp FS8010 will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.21 GHz. The phone will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 OS and pack in 4GB RAM.

Last month, the smartphone manufacturer officially announced that it would launch bezel-less phones in China soon. These full screen phones, as per the company, will be sold in China via JD.com which will become Sharp’s exclusive online retail partner in China for the next three years.

Meanwhile, another upcoming Sharp phone with model number FS8016 landed at AnTuTu and Geekbench, hinting that its release is just round the corner. This device is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, Full HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
