Samsung has been seeding out the Pie update to its flagship devices over the past few months and the Galaxy S8 sets and later flagship devices have finally received the stable Android Pie update.

This means that the South Korean Giant can now shift their attention towards updating the mid-range Galaxy devices. The first mid-range Samsung device to receive the Pie beta build was the Galaxy A7 (2018).

Now, Galaxy A6 (2018) users can rejoice too since the One UI beta programme is now live and Galaxy A6 (2018) users can register for the beta update on their devices. Currently, the Pie beta programme is only available in South Korea as per SamMobile.

However, we do expect to see the One UI Beta programme for the Galaxy A6 (2018) open up in a few more regions soon. Galaxy A6 users in Korea can register for the update via the Samsung Members application.

The update brings along all the major features of the new One UI skin that’s found on the flagship Galaxy S and Note devices. The stable Android 9 Pie build for the Galaxy A6 (2018) might be released after a couple of months after the beta testing is done.
