It’s been two weeks since the official unveiling of Google newest OS for mobile devices, Android 10. As of now, only the Pixel devices, Essential Phone, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro have been blessed with the update. And now, as per an encouraging bit of information from Sammobile, Samsung is all set to give its current flagships a taste of 10, sooner than later.
According to the website, the South Korean OEM will announce its Android 10 beta program towards the end of September, with the first beta scheduled to roll out in the United States and some European countries through the month of October.
Last year, Samsung launched its Android Pie beta program for the Galaxy S9 duo in November, while the same One UI update was announced for Note 9 later that month. This year, too, the Galaxy S10 lineup is guaranteed to get Samsung’s newest build ahead of any other device, but the Note 10 duo could also get the One UI 2.0 update alongside its S-series siblings.
In 2018, Samsung released the first stable Android 9 build for Galaxy S9 on December 24th, setting the record for the company’s fastest Android OS rollout till date. This year, if Samsung actually adheres to the timeline discussed above, they could practically improve upon their last year’s record and release it before the end of November.
