It’s confirmed. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be officially unveiled on August 23 at an Unpacked event at Park Avenue Armory in New York City.
The company has teased the launch date on Twitter in a not-so-cryptic-way. As is clearly visible from the gif below, a stylus aka the S Pen can be seen drawing the outlines of the Galaxy Note 8 indicating that it will also feature slim-bezels as the current Galaxy S line.
And the slogan, “Do bigger things” pretty much confirms that the smartphone in question is indeed the Galaxy Note 8 for obvious reasons.

The news comes only a few days after the company’s CEO confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 will be launched in August.
As far as the specs are concerned, the smartphone is expected to feature a similar design akin to the Galaxy S8+ but with a slightly bigger display at 6.3-inches and even better screen-to-body ratio.
The device is interestingly expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 SoC (which is currently unannounced) and will come in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB.
A dual camera module 12MP sensors will reportedly sit on the back of the handset adjacent to which the fingerprint scanner is expected to be placed. Word has it that the handset will also get a dual speaker for stereo sound.
