Galaxy Note 8 will come in 64GB and 128GB variants

Discarding past rumors a new leak has emerged suggesting that Samsung will release Galaxy Note 8 in two variants, akin to its flagship phone Galaxy S8.  The two Note 8 models will be available in 64GB and 128GB variants.

The leak also mentioned that Galaxy Note 8 will cost over $1000, making it the most expensive Samsung phone yet. This price might reach $1100 when sold outside the country of origin.

OSEN media quoted a Samsung Electronics official as saying: The model with 32GB storage capacity is gone and there are only two models of 64GB and 128GB.

Regarding the price of the device, the official said (translated):  I know that it is about $ 1000 to $ 1100 once it is different from the country of origin.

Thus, the default storage capacity of Note 8 will be 64GB and the premium version will come with 128GB capacity. There will be a microSD card which will further expand the memory to 256GB. This brushes away past reports that Galaxy Note 8 will be released in one version only with 128GB storage.

Notably, the Galaxy Note 7 came out as a single model with 64GB capacity. In addition, it revived the microSD card slot that had disappeared in Galaxy Note 5, and expanded the capacity to 256GB.
