The pre-order for Samsung’s flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8+ have broken all past records of the company. The sale of these devices, which began last week in Korea and US, is also expected to set another record. But in comparison to Galaxy S8, it’s the premium model Galaxy S8+ which is touted to receive better response.
As per a recent report coming out of Korea, the sales of Galaxy S8+ units are expected to be much more than that of the Galaxy S8. Out of the total annual sales of 50.4 million units of Galaxy S8 series smartphone, the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+ alone is touted to occupy 27.1 million units which is around 53.9 percent, as per Yuanta Securities report.

Is the 6GB RAM variant available in all markets? Or more specifically, is it available in India?
Right now the 6GB variant seems to be available only in Korea. Some sites say its an Asia only release.Maybe later they introduce it in India
I prefer the S8 more. For one hand usage it’s perfect. The S8+ seems to a bit too big for my preference. When using two hands the S8+ is a beautiful phone but then every now and then one might struggle when the other hand is occupied like holding their morning coffee or something.People might prefer the S8+ as it also comes with the 6GB variant
despite being 200$ expensive than the S8, looks like the bigger screen in a small body sibling has received more love than it’s smaller brother!! reason might be the smaller footprint of the overall phone and a bigger battery but samsung must be happy after seeing this!!
I’ve always loved a bigger screen but its been hard because that usually comes with an oversized body but the Samsung Galaxy S8+ fits all that into a smaller footprint. I think that’s why the S8+ is doing so well.
No one can beat samasung in flagship range may doubting in coming years already xiaomi beats samsungs in budget segment area if the brand MI will able to popular in coming years it could be a tough challenge.
I think the reason would be a bigger battery and power users would have opted for the 6GB variant.
I would have expected the s8 to be more in demand thanks to the more manageable form factor and lower price but this is a pleasant surprise and makes more sense.
