We know that Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be released in the second quarter of this year, but at the launch event and unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Korean company did not reveal a specific date.

Even so, the latest development suggests that you may soon be able to grab the Galaxy S10 5G handset from a shop near you. This is after the phone went through the Bluetooth SIG carrying model number SM-G977N, the variant targeting the Korean market.

Galaxy S10 5G Bluetooth SIG certification

The Galaxy S10 5G is the first from the company to support 5G, but that’s not all you get from the handset. In fact, its easily the most premium offering in the S10 series, boasting the biggest screen of all measuring 6.7 inches, the biggest battery of all with a 4500mAh capacity, faster 25W wired charging, and further adds a fourth lens on the back camera array as opposed to the three used on the S10 and S10+.

When it arrives, the Galaxy S10 5G will remain a Verizon exclusive offering in the U.S. for the initial release, but other carriers like AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile will get the nod to carry it later on, probably around summer time.
