The first month of 2015 is coming to an end, we expected Samsung to release Android 5.0 lollipop update to its flagship devices in early 2015, but we didn’t saw any floating out yet, except for the Galaxy S5 which received its Lollipop goodness early in December last year.
Anyway, thankfully, Sammy is finally rolling out its Lollipop update process, starting with Galaxy Note 3, in Russia. Odd choice? Technically, the Galaxy Note 4 should be the first device of Note series to receive the Lollipop update, but we aren’t complaining.
Galaxy Note 3 users in Russia, should be seeing the Android 5.0 lollipop update happening on their phones right now. If not, just head over to Settings » About phone » Software update and keep checking for any update. You can also connect your device to Kies software for PC, and see if it updates your device to the latest lollipop firmware, that’s N900XXUEBOA6.
