The Galaxy C7 Pro is all set to be unveiled to the public with a release date set for January 21st, or around that. On the other hand, the Galaxy C5 Pro release is, as previously reported, scheduled for the post-new-year holidays launch, which basically pushed the C5 pro for February launch, followed by Galaxy S8 release in April 2017.

Earlier reports for the launch date have turned out to be spot-on after the device was spotted for WiFi certification. We had even gotten further confirmation from TENAA too regarding the release date. The smartphone should begin retailing in the Chinese markets first and move on to other countries slowly.

The Galaxy C7 sports a heavy duty set of specifications with 6 GB of RAM, a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a 5.7 inch AMOLED FHD display. In direct comparison to the Galaxy C9 Pro, the C7 loses out in terms of raw processor power with the Snapdragon 653 giving the advantage to the C9 Pro. But then again, with C7 Pro, there’s also a little less strain on your pockets.

Though the Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to ship with Marshmallow out of the box, we can expect Nougat to hit the device by the coming month at the least.
