Last week, we came across a list of unreleased Samsung phones and among them were the Galaxy C10 and Galaxy C10 Plus. At the time, all we could learn from the list was that the C10 pair will be powered by Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, but we now have more, albeit contradicting, details about the premium variant of the pair, the Galaxy C10 Plus.
According to AnTuTu, the Galaxy C10 Plus, which has model number SM-C9150, will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, a premium midrange processor. This will be paired with a massive 6GB RAM, Adreno 512 GPU and 64GB of internal storage.
The benchmarking platform further reveals that the Galaxy C10 Plus will be powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, which is typical of Samsung but contradicts earlier reports that pointed to Oreo out of the box.
Interestingly, the Galaxy C10 Plus is said to come with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, meaning that the 18:9 design is reserved for the flagship Galaxy S and Note series alongside the new Galaxy A family.
It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time details of the Galaxy C10 and C10 Plus are showing up online. We’ve heard about the phones since mid-2017, however, the widely rumored Galaxy C10 turned out to be the Galaxy C8 (Galaxy J7+).
Other details of the Galaxy C10 and C10 Plus, including price and release date, remain unknown for now, but we’ll monitor the developments and keep you up to date.
