Samsung enables Bixby for banks, lets you send money by voice

In an interesting development to the Bixby, Samsung has collaborated with banks in Korea. This partnership will soon let Bixby make financial transactions through voice i.e in the near future, you could send money from your smartphone by using your voice.

Samsung Bixby, the virtual assistant from Samsung that was launched in March this year, along with the flagship device from Samsung, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will assist you in your banking transactions. Using simple voice commands, you can ask Bixby to display your bank accounts or make transactions.

Initially, Samsung has tied up with three Korean banks – Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank and KEB Hana Bank to enable banking via Bixby. Luckily, if you have a Woori bank account, you can also make currency exchanges via the AI program, Bixby.

Plus, since Bixby is currently available only on Samsung S8 and S8+, so obviously, the new project will just work on these devices, at the moment.

And in case you are worried about the security aspect, don’t be. Well, because the service connects to the Samsung Pass, the biometric authentication program, and Samsung Pay, which are highly secured.
