According to a Bloomberg, the next HTC device, which we’ve been calling Hima (One M9), will sport a 20MP camera at the back, while HTC’s love for ultrapixel camera will see it move to device’s front, to pay lip service to your selfies. This is indeed a big relief for many people, who didn’t like the 4MP ultrapixel camera while loved the rest of the package.
HTC’s next is also reported to have a better audio — an area where HTC is already unmatched since One M7, and continued with One M8. There is also a little mention of processor, that it will be an eight-core one. Which you know who — unless you were living in the cave, you can guess it’s 64-bit Octa-core Snapdragon 810 chip.
It’s also said that in terms of size and build quality, you’ll see a One M8 like device, which is fine — after all, One M8 is still the best when it comes to sheer build quality. A 5″ flagship of a major Android phones maker like HTC may look small in 2015, but when the company has plans for a bigger device — rumored codename is HTC Hima Ace Plus, btw — based on same design principles and similar hardware, then you don’t have complaints, no?
And there’s more.
HTC is also rumored to announce its very own smartwatch, that may also have to do with its partnership with Under Armour, a fitness company.
HTC is all set to announce its new flagship and smartwatch on March 1, at MWC. Stay in touch with us as we get you more news on this.
