With the imminent release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 across the US and Canada, it is not unusual to see pricing come up for various carriers before the launch. In case of the Galaxy Note 2, we have already seen the price for both Bell and TELUS , thanks to retailer Best Buy, who lists the 3-year contract price of the device as $149.99 for both carriers.

Telus has already announced the release date for its Galaxy Note 2 as October 30th, so the other carriers in Canada who are getting the Note 2, should also release it at around the same time. Other than Rogers, Bell and Telus, the samsung Galaxy Note 2, is also expected to release with Mobilicity, WIND, Videotron and Sasktel.

Best Buy Canada, is now also listing the Rogers Samsung Galaxy Note, at a price of $249.99 as you can see above, for a 3 year contract. The price is surpringly higher than that listed for Bell and Telus by $100, for practically the same hardware, which really doesn’t make any sense. We have no idea whether this is someone’s idea of a joke, or whether it is just an error, and if it’s just an error, it is a pretty expensive one at $100!

None of the carriers have officially announced any pricing as yet, so what we are seeing here may well change and normalize as the release date draws closer. For now, it seems best to sit back and wait for a couple of more weeks to see what Rogers has in mind
