Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro launched in India a while ago, marking the phone’s entry into the global market. At the time, the company promised that the MIUI 10 update would be coming soon and indeed, recruitment for global beta testers of the custom ROM is now open.
This comes at a time when those using the Redmi 6 Pro from China – or rather those who have the China ROM installed on the device – are already receiving the stable version of MIUI 10. It took Xiaomi about two months to iron out issues in the beta version before commencing the stable rollout in China, but we hope it will take a much shorter period before the stable version arrives on the global model.
