Palworld Passive Gold Farm: Requirements, Best Pals, and How to Run

This is a Ranch-to-merchant farm. Your base produces High Quality Cloth passively through Sibelyx or Sibelyx Primo, and the Gold comes afterward when you sell that cloth for 260 Gold Coins per piece.

That makes it different from direct Gold Ranch setups using Pals like Mau, Mau Cryst, or Dumud Gild, and also different from the higher-effort Dumud Gild breeding-and-slaughter route. This one is for players who want to come back to a stocked chest, sell the output, and keep the High Quality Cloth when recipes need it.

What this no-breeding farm produces

The base output is High Quality Cloth, not Gold Coins dropping straight onto the Ranch floor. Sibelyx and Sibelyx Primo graze at a Ranch and create the finished material, which your transport Pals move into storage.

Regular Cloth is a separate material path: it comes from Wool, with 2 Wool turning into 1 Cloth at a workbench. High Quality Cloth can also be made from 10 Wool and 1 Leather, or bought from some merchants for about 2,640 Gold, which is why farming it passively is so useful even before you sell extras.

Setup for the Sibelyx Ranch farm

You need a base that keeps the Ranch Pals working, fed, and unloaded. The demonstrated layout uses three Ranches, but two Ranches works for a smaller version if you are short on space or Pal slots.

The only strict Ranch condition is that the Pal must have Farming Lv 1+ and a Ranch-compatible Partner Skill. For this farm, that means your Ranch slots should be built around Sibelyx and Sibelyx Primo, with support Pals handling the base chores around them.

How to build and run the passive Sibelyx cloth farm in Palworld

This setup turns captured Sibelyx into a self-running High Quality Cloth base, then converts the stored cloth into Gold Coins through a merchant.

Build a Ranch-focused base

Set up a protected base area with multiple Ranches and enough space for food production, beds, and nearby storage.

Assign Sibelyx to the Ranches

Fill the Ranch slots with captured Sibelyx or Sibelyx Primo, since both produce High Quality Cloth and can be mixed in the same base.

Add Quivern Botan for crop and transport work

Use Quivern Botan to cover planting, gathering, transporting, and some handiwork around the farm.

Add Faleris Aqua for watering and hauling

Assign Faleris Aqua so your plants stay watered and dropped High Quality Cloth gets moved into the correct chest quickly.

Add Mimog for fast transport

Use Mimog as a dedicated fast transporter so Ranch drops do not sit on the ground longer than necessary.

Add night work if you want longer uptime

Vanwyrm Cryst is a useful optional pick if you want base work to continue through the night cycle.

Protect the working area

Use walls or a defensive base shape so raids and nearby threats interrupt the Ranch Pals less often.

Place beds close enough for reliable rest

Put beds near the work zone, or use a compact tower-style bed setup if your base pathing handles it cleanly.

Run two or three Ranches

Use three Ranches for the fuller setup, or two Ranches for a smaller base that still produces High Quality Cloth passively.

Capture a Wandering Merchant

Go to Small Settlement, capture the Wandering Merchant in the middle of the area with a Pal Sphere, then leave after the bounty appears.

Sell the stored High Quality Cloth

Summon the captured merchant at your base and sell the accumulated High Quality Cloth whenever you want to cash out.

Best Pals for the farm and their roles

The core of the farm is simple: Sibelyx and Sibelyx Primo are the producers, while the other Pals keep the base from stalling. The support picks matter because Ranch output is only useful if food keeps running and drops reach storage.

If the base is already feeding itself, prioritize more producer slots before adding extra utility. If cloth is piling up on the ground, add or improve transport instead.

Where to capture Sibelyx and the merchant

For the no-breeding version, capture the Pals directly instead of making perfect offspring. Regular Sibelyx can be hunted in the Frozen Mountain area, while Sibelyx Primo is found around the World Tree area.

The selling piece comes from Small Settlement. The Wandering Merchant in the middle of the settlement can be captured with a Pal Sphere; doing this gives you a bounty, so leave the area afterward and use the merchant at your own base when you need to sell.

How to raise output without breeding

Max condensing your Sibelyx or Sibelyx Primo improves return, but it is optional for this no-breeding farm. You can run the base with wild-caught Pals first, then condense later if you decide the farm is worth the extra captures.

Work Speed passives also help Ranch output. The useful passives shown for this setup are Artisan, Demon’s Hand, and Remarkable Craftsmanship, because faster work means more Ranch items over time.

When this farm is worth using

This Sibelyx setup is best when you want low-maintenance Gold and a stockpile of High Quality Cloth at the same time. It is not the fastest possible Gold route, but it asks for much less active handling once the base is running.

Use the Sibelyx farm when you want a two-in-one material and money base. Use direct Gold Pals when you only care about coins, and use breeding-heavy methods when maximum output matters more than convenience.
