Dandilord is the strongest Grass-type Pal in Palworld after the 1.0 update, followed by Lyleen, Silvance, Ophydia, and Elizabee.
Grass Pals are no longer just base workers. This order is a single showcase-run ranking, not a universal meta list, because some teams value tanks, mounts, or player-damage conversion more than pure Pal output.

The top five lean toward Pals that change how a whole party fights, not just Pals with useful work suitabilities. Dandilord wins because it brings damage, status pressure, exploration value, and base output at the same time.
How Grass strength is judged
For this list, strength means combat value first: damage potential, partner skill leverage, status synergy, party support, and how much the Pal contributes when the fight drags on. Base work still matters, but it only lifts a Pal when the combat case is already strong.
Key Grass is strong against Ground and weak to Fire, so a Grass team wants more than plain Grass attacks. Since version 1.0, the best setups also care about Poison, Ivy Covered, Soak, and Muddy: Poison stacks with other statuses, Ivy Covered slows targets and feeds Fire plans, Soak opens Electric burst windows, and Muddy makes targets take more Grass damage.
The attack values cited here are build values from a shared passive package, not base stats: Immortality, Serenity, Demon God, and Musclehead.
1. Dandilord is the best overall Grass Pal
Dandilord takes first because Mist Stalwart adds Poison to your attacks, turning fast-hit weapons and aggressive Pal pressure into constant status uptime. Its own kit also supports that plan through poison mist attacks such as Poison Promenade and Toxic Dance.
Poison is the reason Dandilord pulls away from the rest of the Grass field. It can stack with Burn and Ivy Covered, so Dandilord fits into Fire setups without fighting the rest of the team’s status plan.
Build around Dandilord’s Poison first: add Prixter for poisoned-target damage, Bakemi for enemy damage reduction, then layer Burn or Ivy Covered when the fight allows it.
Dandilord also nullifies toxic gas in the World Tree, which gives it real exploration value instead of leaving it as a boss-room-only pick. In the shared build, it reached 5,154 attack without needing Elizabee-style party-slot stacking, and Combat SMG pressure works especially well with Mist Stalwart.
It is also not just a planter. Fully condensed, Dandilord brings Planting 10, Handiwork 8, Medicine Production 8, Transporting 4, and Gathering 6, which makes it one of the rare Grass Pals that feels elite in both combat and base work.
2. Lyleen keeps long fights alive
Lyleen ranks this high because Harvest Goddess can heal and revive downed Pals back to 90% health. That single effect changes long fights, especially when your main damage Pal gets knocked out and you need the run to keep going.
This is the defensive pick for Grass teams. Lyleen can still fight with skills like Solar Blast, Spine Vine, Seed Mine, and Aqua Burst, but its real job is keeping the party stable while stronger attackers do their work.
3. Silvance detonates Ivy Covered targets
Silvance is the best offensive Grass pick when your team is already applying Ivy Covered. Its partner skill, Spore Stalwart, makes Ivy Covered enemies explode and deal splash damage to nearby targets, which turns a status setup into area damage.
That gives Silvance a cleaner role than Ophydia in a Grass-focused party: it wants Grass-Fire synergy, clustered enemies, and repeated detonations. With the same comparison build, Silvance and Lyleen both sat at 4,632 attack and 1,829 defense, but Silvance spends that statline on pressure rather than recovery.
Its exclusive attacks, Spore Burst and Giant Spore, match the role well, and it can also learn heavy hitters such as Blizzard Spike and Wind Burst. Pick Silvance when you want your Grass slot to help end fights faster.
4. Ophydia powers Water and Electric teams
Ophydia earns fourth through Glorious Mist and Soak. Soak slows enemies and makes them take double Electric damage, which gives Ophydia a specific home in teams built around Electric burst instead of raw Grass output.
That is why Jormuntide is such a natural partner: Stormbringer Sea Dragon adds extra damage against Soaked enemies, pushing Ophydia toward a Water/Electric hybrid shell. Ophydia still brings style and mobility through Lotus Bloom and ride combat, but it is less of a pure Grass damage pick than Dandilord or Silvance.
5. Elizabee scales through Beegarde support
Elizabee has the highest ceiling in the ranking when you fully commit to Beegarde support. Queen Bee Command increases Elizabee’s attack by 24% for each Beegarde in the party, which can push it to enormous numbers, including a 5,800 attack comparison build.
The tradeoff is obvious: those Beegarde slots are not free. Elizabee gets excellent tools like Poison Blast, Wind Burst, and the exclusive Spinning Staff, but needing multiple support slots keeps it from beating the more flexible top-four picks.
Beegarde is at least useful outside the fight because it can produce honey at a ranch for cake production. Still, Elizabee is strongest when the whole party is built around making one queen hit harder.

Several Grass Pals miss the main list only because they are more specialized. Some are better for player-focused builds, some are base engines, and some are support pieces that belong beside a stronger carry.
If you only want the strongest Grass combat core, start with Dandilord, Lyleen, and Silvance. If your build is player-damage-heavy, Quivern Botan, Elgrove, Bristla, and Ribbuny Botan become much more attractive.
