Silvance is one of the standout additions introduced in Palworld 1.0. While it isn’t the highest-damage Grass Pal available, it fills multiple roles exceptionally well. It performs as an effective combat support Pal, dominates medicine crafting at your base, and becomes especially valuable when paired with Ivy-Covered focused team compositions.

Where to find Silvance in Palworld 1.0

Silvance is encountered as an Alpha Boss within the World Tree biome near Shrinespore Root, making it one of the final Pals you’ll likely capture during the game’s progression. The World Tree contains high-level enemies and environmental hazards, so arriving with powerful equipment and high-level Pals is recommended.

Because the World Tree is an endgame area, players should prepare for difficult encounters before attempting to capture Silvance.

Combat strengths

Silvance isn’t designed to function as a pure damage dealer. Instead, it shines through battlefield utility.

Its unique Spore Stalwart Partner Skill grants immunity to the dangerous Explosive Spores found throughout the World Tree. More importantly, when enemies are afflicted with Ivy-Covered, attacks trigger additional explosions that deal roughly 40–60% of the player’s attack damage as bonus damage. This effect does not stack with multiple Silvance.

This makes Silvance particularly effective when paired with teammates or Pals capable of consistently applying the Ivy-Covered status.

Its base stats are also respectable:

StatValue
HP140
Attack120
Defense110

While these numbers won’t rival the strongest legendary attackers, they provide enough durability for extended fights.

Best work suitability and base uses

One of Silvance’s biggest strengths is its incredible usefulness around your base.

Medicine Production Lv. 8 is currently the highest starting level available, making Silvance arguably the best Pal for producing advanced medicines in Palworld 1.0. It also contributes to farming and crafting whenever medicine production isn’t required.

If your endgame base produces healing items or buffs regularly, Silvance is one of the best permanent workers you can assign.

How to catch Silvance

  1. Reach the World Tree region and unlock nearby fast travel points for easier repeated attempts.
  2. Bring strong Fire-type attackers, since Fire has an elemental advantage over Grass.
  3. Reduce Silvance’s HP carefully while avoiding accidental knockouts.
  4. Use high-tier Pal Spheres such as Legendary or Ultimate variants to maximize capture chances.
  5. After capture, consider upgrading its Partner Skill through the Pal Essence Condenser if you intend to use Ivy-Covered strategies.

Breeding tips

Silvance has a very restrictive breeding pool in Version 1.0.

ChildParent Combination
SilvanceSilvance + Silvance

Unlike many other Pals, there are currently no alternate breeding combinations that produce Silvance. This means you’ll first need to capture at least one breeding pair before producing additional offspring.

When breeding, prioritize useful passive traits depending on your intended role.

PlaystyleRecommended Passive Focus
Base WorkerWork Speed, Artisan-type traits, efficiency boosts
CombatAttack boosts, cooldown reduction, survivability
HybridBalance of work speed and combat passives

Since Palworld’s breeding system now heavily rewards inherited passives and potentials, breeding multiple generations can significantly improve Silvance’s effectiveness.

Drops

Capturing or defeating Silvance can reward valuable late-game materials.

Possible Drops
Giant Pal Soul
Ancient Civilization Core
World Tree Holy Water
Grass Radiant Gem
Various Ancient Relics (rare)

Several of these resources are important for endgame crafting and upgrades.

Is Silvance worth using?

If you’re building an optimized endgame base, Silvance is absolutely worth obtaining. It currently offers the game’s best starting Medicine Production, contributes effectively to Handiwork and Planting, and introduces one of the strongest support Partner Skills for Ivy-Covered team compositions.

Although its breeding options are limited and it requires access to the World Tree, the investment pays off for players focused on efficient crafting, advanced medicine production, or Grass-based combat strategies.
