Palworld 1.0: How to Unlock the Soralite Quarry and Start Base Farming

Soralite Ore is an endgame material added in Palworld 1.0, so your first farm starts with the right tool and access to Sunreach. Manual mining gets you the first batch, then the Soralite Quarry turns it into a base resource once you have enough ore to build the setup.

Soralite Ore mining requirements

Treat Soralite as a special endgame ore, not another pickaxe rock. Normal pickaxes are not the intended method here; the ore is built around the Plasma Multicutter and its weak-point hit.

Sunreach route to the Farcry Marsh cluster

Natural Soralite nodes are in Sunreach, the floating island region in the southwest of the world map, southeast of Feybreak Island. For your first run, aim for the island group near Farcry Marsh instead of sweeping the entire archipelago.

The main cluster sits around -325, -1407 and has several nodes close together. Look for dark rock deposits wrapped in glowing blue crystals; once you are above the floating islands, the blue crystal faces are easy to pick out from the terrain.

How to get Soralite Ore in Palworld 1.0

Craft the Plasma Multicutter

Unlock the Plasma Multicutter at Level 54 and craft it on Production Assembly Line II or higher before leaving for Sunreach.

Go to the Farcry Marsh floating islands

Use the Sunreach islands near Farcry Marsh as your target area and scan for dark nodes covered with glowing blue crystals.

Shoot the sparkling weak point

Equip the Plasma Multicutter and fire at the sparkle on each Soralite node; plain rock hits only deal 1 damage.

Build the Soralite Quarry

Unlock the Soralite Quarry at Level 72 and place it at base with 70 Stone, 100 Soralite, and 10 Ancient Civilization Parts.

Catch Blazamut for the Quarry

Fly around Flambelle Islet, catch Blazamut, and assign it to the Soralite Quarry once it is back at base.

Best Soralite farming spots in Sunreach

Keep these as Sunreach rotations, not mainland routes. The Farcry Marsh cluster is the cleanest first target because the nodes are tight, while Crystalline Archipelago and Waterlily Gorge are better once you are already farming Sunreach by air.

Soralite Quarry setup at your base

The Soralite Quarry is the late-game automation path, unlocked at Level 72. It costs 70 Stone, 100 Soralite, and 10 Ancient Civilization Parts, so manual Sunreach mining has to fund the first build.

Once placed at a base, the Quarry generates Soralite through assigned Pals with Mining Work Suitability. This changes Soralite from an active mining route into a passive base farm, as long as you have Mining Pals working the structure.

Blazamut quarry workers at Flambelle Islet

Blazamut is the standout Pal for Soralite Quarry duty because it starts with base Mining level 7. That makes it the best named pick here when you want the Quarry working at a decent pace.

Its habitat is Flambelle Islet, and it appears there in both day and night. Fly around the island until one spawns, then use an Exotic Sphere or higher; an Ancient Sphere gives a better capture chance.

Catching three or four Blazamut gives you extra workers to rotate into base mining, though the Quarry may not use every available Pal on the same station at once.

Soralite Ingots and high-tier crafting

After farming, turn Soralite into Soralite Ingots for endgame crafting. In an Ancient Furnace, 2 Soralite plus 2 Pure Quartz makes 1 Soralite Ingot, which then feeds high-tier weapons, ammunition, Pal equipment, and Ancient structures.

Soralite farming mistakes to avoid

Do not waste time searching the original mainland for natural Soralite nodes; put your farming loop in Sunreach. Do not swing regular pickaxes at the blue rocks, and when using the Plasma Multicutter, hold the beam on the sparkling weak point instead of spraying the whole node.
