When Samsung announced the Galaxy Beta program for Oreo in October, the first countries to get the update were US, UK, and South Korea. Next in line to receive the update would be Germany, Spain, France, Poland, China, and India.
Since users in India have started to receive the Oreo beta update, that probably means that Samsung has started the second stage rollout. Others living in Germany and Poland have also received the Oreo beta update. Users in other countries mentioned in the list haven’t reported seeing the update, but it should arrive very soon.
You can only try out the Oreo beta software if you have registered for the Galaxy Beta program. You can follow our guide to learn how to join the program. All you need is a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ to be eligible. The beta update weighs around 1.4GB and may include bugs. Once you install the beta, you will receive new beta updates via OTA.
