Oppo R11 leaks out in the wild

The Oppo R11 leaks are pouring in like crazy right now giving us ample peek into its design, features and specsheet. And now the premium phone has been seemingly leaked yet again in the wild. The image shows the rear of the Oppo R11 with the dual camera set-up.

This indeed looks like the official version of the Oppo R11 phone. Now there’s nothing new to be deciphered from this image as past leaks and renders have shown a similar device. In fact, one of the first live images to be leaked was an exact replica of this one, except for being a bit blurred. So, yes it’s confirmed that Oppo will be releasing its next R11 device with an Apple iPhone 7 Plus similarity when it comes to camera placement on the top right side as well as the antenna lines.

Other than the leaks, Oppo has also officially teased a few specifications of the phone, one of which is the camera. Undoubtedly, Oppo is known for producing camera-centric phones and this one too falls in the same category. With a 20MP+16MP rear camera combo setup endowed with 2X optical zoom, the R11 is clearly aimed at photography enthusiasts. An interesting feature of the upcoming device is that it uses a learning algorithm to enhance image quality on its dual cameras. The selfie shooter at the front will be 20MP.

The phone will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other features include a 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD display, front fingerprint scanner and 2900mAh battery, as per TENAA. It will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

There will a Oppo R11 Plus which will sport 6-inch TFT display, 6GB RAM and a big 3880mAh battery to keep the lights on. This will be 7.8mm thick as compared to the slim 6.8mm size of its younger sibling.
