Even as we are looking forward to soon witness the launch of Oppo’s new camera-phone, the R11, a peek into TENAA gives us hints that the Chinese smartphone maker might release the Oppo R11 in three more variants. Out of the three, Oppo R11 Plus is anticipated. But surprisingly there may be two more Oppo R11 versions named as Oppo R11PlusK and Oppo R11T.
The Chinese certification site TENAA has listed all the three Oppo R11 series smartphones. But it has not revealed the detailed specsheet or any images yet. Nevertheless, based on past reports we do know that Oppo R11 Plus will have a large 6-inch screen as compared to the 5.5 inch FHD display on Oppo R11.
The other two Oppo R11PlusK and Oppo R11T devices have already received radio transmission approval in China. And although TENAA has listed only three devices belonging to Oppo R11 series, we might see more as China’s State Radio Regulation listing shows four other R11 models. Probably the different models could be tied to different carriers.
Coming to the Oppo R11 Plus, apart from the screen size, all other features on board the device should be the same as its younger sibling. As such, the Plus version should also be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Underneath, it will pack 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. But chances are high of seeing a 6GB RAM Oppo R11 Plus. The USP of the phone, which are the cameras, which will be 20MP dual sensors at the rear and a 20MP front camera as well.
