Oppo’s name has been synonymous with camera phones. It is one of the most preferred brands for photography enthusiasts. Clinging on to its reputation, the company will soon launch another product targeted at camera phone lovers dubbed as Oppo R11. Oppo has even started showing off the camera prowess of the R11 phone.
In a new teaser, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has highlighted a new camera feature which the R11 will sport. The company says that the phone will feature a new 20MP high definition camera. Now what exactly do they mean by high definition and what all it is capable of doing is somewhat ambiguous as Oppo did not explain it in details.
But we do know that this upcoming device will sport rear dual cameras of 20MP+16MP resolution with 2X optical zoom. The selfie shooter at the front will be 20MP with features such as more advanced bokeh effect, portrait shoot with blur effect and custom self-timer. Also, another interesting feature is the usage of learning algorithm by the phone to enhance image quality on its dual cameras.
Oppo will release the phone in two versions — R11 and R11 Plus. While the former will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD display, the latter is expected to carry a larger 6-inch screen. The phone will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC and shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Oppo R11 will pack in 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 2900mAh battery while the R11 Plus will house 6GB RAM and a 3880mAh battery.
