Oppo A57 launches in Australia

Oppo’s affordable selfie camera phone, the Oppo A57, is now available for purchase in Australia. It landed in the sunshine country towards the end of last month.

The Oppo A57 can be purchased in Australia via two online retail stores, Oppo Australia announced via its Twitter handle. Both JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks are selling the 32GB Oppo phone in Black and Gold colors.

On JB Hi-Fi, the Oppo A57 carries a price tag of $328 while the same can be bought from Officeworks at $1 less, that is $327. However, at the time of filing this story the Officeworks online store showed the phone as out of stock leading us to believe that it is selling like hot cakes in the country. Notably, the handset is available at Officeworks offline stores.

Launched late last year, Oppo A57 sports 5.2-inch HD display. It carries octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. There’s a 2900 mAh non-removable battery as well as a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

  1. Oppo was known for their powerful selfie cameras which are higher than mosr flagships these days and when they released this last year the camera waa great but they did disappoint with the poor processor and battery .Seeing how late the release is in Australia it would simply be a bad sell there :/

  2. those r some high pricing for the kind of features these phones come with, I’ll rather go for the Honor 8 which is available for only 300$ after the recent price drop or the latest Moto G5 plus for 220$ which offers much better specs than this phone for 100$ less!!
