Oppo’s popularity in terms of rolling out software updates to its device is almost nil. As such, it is good to know that the Chinese OEM has Android 7.1.1 Nougat lined up for its R9s smartphone. We say this as an Oppo R9s has been spotted online running Android 7.1.1 Nougat beta build.
A Oppo R9s user posted three screenshots of his phone showing the Android 7.1.1 Nougat beta build (as seen in the image above). This means that Oppo has planned to skip the Android 7.0 Nougat update to R9s and instead jump over to Android 7.1.1.
If the leaked screenshots are genuine, we can safely say that very soon the stable build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be released to Oppo R9s users. And with this will arrive all the Nougat sweetness to the mentioned device.

Notably, towards the last week of last month (that is March), leaked picture of Oppo R9s on Weibo post showed the device running on Android 7.0 Nougat. The mid-range device was launched last year in October with Android Marshmallow on board.
